Governments all around the world are reviewing their copyright laws to try and respond to the technical challenges & opportunities posed by the Internet.
What should copyright law look like in a digital environment? How do we incentivise creation and innovation and ensure a thriving digital NZ? What is the best model for New Zealand? What can we learn from overseas experience? Is fair use right for New Zealand or would it raise more problems than it solved? #nethuicopy

Carolyn Dalton is Executive Director of Policy Australia and is also on the Advisory Committee to the Australian Law Reform Commission’s review into copyright and the digital environment. Susan Chalmers is Policy Lead with Internet New Zealand.
